Pride parade

Pride parade was great! but.... i thought last year's was better... fiona (head of college) participated in it... and a few others from college as well... saw young this really hot gay guy parade my my hot body hot body!!! and not forgetting another hot butch... apparently her name is ox or something like that.. but yeah she's cute! ehehe... next's year we shall go again... for the last time.

Now the panick has set in so it's time to cheong all the way... well at least try...

it's that time of the year again... when ppl grad finally!

The new house committee being announced and the other awards to give out... oh tutors for each wings as well.. sof, sarah j were among them. Sof got the collegian of the year award and Sarah J got to become an assistant tutor!! how cool is that! and yes... if those of you don't know by now i got an award so to speak... the stalker award at wisca... i can't help it if guys are cute ya know... but i'm so over damien so that's cool... good award though... shared btwn me and shaah... who helped me along the way... ahahaha ok back to the books!

reality

whether we like it or not death can be knocking on our doors anytime...

i was talking to mum today and she told me some bad news... my dad's youngest bro which is my uncle (duh!) has cancer.... lung cancer to be exact... i was super shocked and reality hit me once again... not that i've been in dreamland all this while but yeah the thought of death has been going through my mind quite often something which is don't know why... i keep thinking that one day i would not even be existing in this world and noone would know that i lived once like all those before us that have left. My uncle is only maybe mid to late 40s and his daughter is only in primary school... it's so upsetting... another death to come along? i really hope not.. apparently mum says that his condition is not too good... cause the cancer has spread from his lungs to his liver... i don't know how bad it is but i just hope that there's still some chance of a longer survival... smoking kills is what they always say but how much do people actually take in the info and listen i don't know... one example would be him... i don't know whether i should be mad or sad actually... one side is telling me that he deserves what he gets cause there are many times which we have told him and asked him to stop and he didn't... and the other side is telling me that he's my uncle and he might leave sooner than anyone expects... this is what we call life... and i'm not really enjoying it at present moment... there are more important thing to worry about and i know i should put my heart and soul into it... so i'll just have to try...

Oh a lighter note... i got the card that mum was so eager to let me recieve... after she told me she has sent me the card and refused to tell me what it was about... it really put a smile on my face and really made me miss her... and home... for that matter... it's a good luck card for my exams... sometimes i feel as if i'm letting her down so much... i wish i could just get my grades up and make her happy just in return for the effort that she's put in for my encouragement... i miss you mum... your card sits on my desk to remind me everyday to study hard... thanks it means alot..

bad concentration power

can't concentrate so i'm writing this to hopefully give me some motivation...

had tut at st cat's today... finally... something for year 3 struggling students.. it was for my worst unit ever... maths for economist... the rest didn't wanna come cause they felt it would be more productive if they studied alone so yeah it was just down to me and ade.. giri was our tutor... very patient guy... i was having 2nd thoughts about going for the tut at first but i'm quite glad that i went... he clarified some stuff that i've been wanting to know... super duper patient... so that's cool...

next event to look out for... pride parade... which is also on the same day as diana's b'day 29th oct.. joyce's b'day on the 30th... if i remembered correctly... so it's all cool...

alright back to the books... i can feel the coffee gettin to my head...

went for dinner with C today. my 1st time at terraza it was yummy thanks so much for the gift it was really sweet of you. i really appreciate it ;) had a really nice chat too. enjoyable company and good food... a good way to motivate you to study after... we should do this more often... clubbing in sing next!

but for now... it's time to prepare for my battle... and WIN IT!

Robbie's b'day it was quite alright actually but the only prob was that we didn't really know alot of ppl there... so the mingling around part wasn't really good... and all we did was eat and eat and eat... and then we had to leave early cuase there was another party going on at metro city so yeah... thought i wanted to go but after changing i decided not too... i guess that was the right thing to do considering the amount of work load that i have and stuff... here are some of the pics that we took during the party enjoy!

ok so here it is... our combine wing party... we had to dress up to the theme of our wing or at least the colours our theme was under the sea! cause our house colour was blue... but how the heck do you dress up like your under the sea? oh well i dressed up to the colour in the end or at least close to the theme...

we then had to go round to other wings and play games... which was rather fun so yeah... "bonding" with the wing lol

Freo prison was super duper spooky! Went last friday with the senior common room girls, darling sof organized it. it was not too bad went in about 3 cars not too many of us and it was at night... you know me as usual the chicken heart! and how come i went you might ask cause i didn't know it was called FREMANTLE GHOST TOUR! i only found it out when the tour started! i was like well done pheli look what you've got yourself into.... and mind you ppl there are real ghost inside there... many ppl have died and the lady even said that it's known to be the most haunted site in western australia! but of course there was no turning back and the money was paid and so off we went...

I took australian economic history in the 1st semester so yeah it was kinda like things from the text brought to live! well besides the ghoul part i was rather pleased that i went... seriously history brought to life. things that i've learnt about the place our tour guide mentioned it and it sorta refreshed my memory so yeah not too bad. There were 3 places where they scared us oh boy you should have seen my face... i clung on to sof like what she likes to call a "little koala" lol and yeah we went to the spots where ppl were sent to die and even the hanging room.

The lady told us that if you took pictures in the prison you might be able to catch white spots here and there which are the ghouls and of course me being the scary cat kept my digi cam right away! NO WAY IN THE WORLD AM I GONNA WANNA SEE THAT! julia was super brave though she kept snapping away... but to me i kinda thought it wasn't that appropriate as it's like kinda treating them as "things" after all they were human once you know so i kinda felt that more respect for them was needed... oh well different ppl have different opinion about things so yeah. it's alright. oh since we're on the ghoul topic.. the lady mentioned that at some places digi cams can't work for some reason but once you leave the area it would work again... strange but oh well lol...

after the tour we went for coffee at freo and i had a nice big cookie with my all time fave caramel macchiato.. lovely lovely
